You are bidding on one very interesting Southern Railway System Employee Timetable Number 24 for the  

Central Lines, ATLANTA DIVISION effective October 31, 1943.  Includes a list of all scheduled trains,

First class, Second class and Third class for the rail lines from Chattanooga to Atlanta, Atlanta to Macon,

Macon to Brunswick, McDonough to Columbus, Williamson to Fort Valley, and Forrestville to Attalla plus

some (2 if I count right!!) other lines and branches.  Contains a complete listing of all stations with siding

and other track capacity, available facilities and a table of hours of service plus several pages of special

instructions including the locomotive and train speed limits and restrictions, tonnage ratings of engines,

signal rules, spring switch location and rules, location of railroad crossings at grade, junctions, and

drawbridges, location of company surgeons, veterinarians, hospitals, yard limits, standard clocks, and

watch inspectors, and lots of other information. 

NOTE: The map shown is not part of this timetable, so I have included a copy of a public timetable

map to show the location of these lines.  This timetable is in EXCELLENT condition with no wrinkles or

tears but with a very small amount of staple rust, and a little bit soiled front cover.
