This elegant collectible 1994 SPECIAL EDITION BARBIE “SOLO IN THE SPOTLIGHT” DOLL by Mattel Inc. is new, in excellent condition, in the original box, and has only been removed from the box to take pictures for this ad.  This beautiful Barbie doll is a reproduction of the original 1960 version.  The lights dim.  A hush falls over the audience.  Barbie steps up to the microphone just as she did in 1960, wearing the most popular vintage fashion of all time, Solo in the Spotlight.  From its close fitting gown with a sassy flounce and single red rose, the long sleek gloves and the open toe heels, everything about her sensational look captures the drama and style of the early 1960’s.  To complete the portrait of glamour, Barbie wears delicate pearl earrings and four stand pearl necklace.  This wonderful treasure comes in the original box that does show some shelf wear – see picture with the original packing material in tact, with the original doll stand, shoes, hair brush, pink scarf and microphone, Registration Card, Limited Warranty with stand assembly instructions.  Dimension – Barbie is approximately 11 ½ inches tall.

 

We are the original owners of this collectible heirloom doll and purchased it new in 1994.  This doll has been stored in a completely smoke and pet free environment.  We are in the process of downsizing; therefore are selling due to display space limitations.
