Splendid old religious banner of Italian origin dated early 1900's with Jesus Christ 30 inches wide by 23 inches high with hanging rod 35 inches long.

Oilgraphic print technique on heavy canvas with metallic hanging rod and brass stub ends with 4 woven hanging straps, woven thread trim and enlaced bottom fringe. The canvas is richly decorated with a close up portrait of Christ during the ordeal of the crucifixtion with the crown of thorns.

Rich in colors and highly detailed vintage banner in excellent condition with only some minor signs of age wear and wrinkles in the canvas, moderate signs of wear in the hem and trim fabric. With hanging cord of origin and side ornaments.
