SPONSOR OUR ENDOWMENT -- NAMING RIGHTS

WE need YOU to ENDOW and SPONSOR our RSIFF. What's that? Please read on.

Naming rights are the rights to name a piece of property, either tangible property or an event, granted in exchange for financial considerations.

While institutions like universities, ball parks and hospitals have a tradition of granting donors the right to name facilities in exchange for contributions, with the general rule being that the larger the contribution, the larger the facility named, we are interested in having our club's CHARITABLE ENDOWMENT named after a generous person of high honesty and integrity.

Our small local Rotary Club is involved in assisting inbound and outbound international youth exchange students every year. We have set up an ENDOWMENT which needs to be funded to assist with annual unfunded expenses that come up to assist our young students gain the maximum from their cultural exchange experience. Sometimes that means helping them join group excursions to see their new country, or paying for unexpected clothing costs, or participating in extra-curricular education, sports and school programs, where the costs were unknown before they arrived in their host country.

Currently, our FUND has a generic name of "Reno Sunrise International Friendship Fund (RSIFF)." Pretty bland, isn't it? We are looking for the opportunity of providing a CHARITABLE PERSON with the privilege of having this ENDOWMENT named after them. It's that simple. "The ( your name ) Endowment of the Reno Sunrise International Friendship Fund (RSIFF)." Now that sounds immensely better!

The person we are looking for can best be described as follows: YOU have a desire or need to obtain a CHARITABLE DONATION DEDUCTION on your tax return this year because you made a significant amount of money that might otherwise simply have to go to pay extra taxes. YOU were the beneficiary of a large amount of money from an inheritance, property sale, lottery, business buyout, increased stock sale, or other unexpected wealth accumulation. YOU want to honor a family member forever. WE have a need and desire to FUND our ENDOWMENT at the level of $50,000.00. YOU want to be that person to provide $50,000.00 and allow your name to be shown as our sponsor. (If you prefer to obtain the charitable deduction by making this donation, but want to remain anonymous, that too can be accomplished, but WE want to give credit where credit is due.)  

Imagine for a moment that it was the "Bill Gates or Warren Buffet or Oprah" "Endowment of the Reno Sunrise International Friendship Fund (RSIFF)." Actually, if they were the named persons, we would probably be asking for a million or two. But we're looking for YOU. Who is YOU? We believe that YOU are a person who sees the value in donating this reasonable amount to a worthy cause. YOU believe that the world is a better place when young people learn about a different country and culture. YOU had the opportunity for someone to believe in you when you were younger, and YOU were helped out with no greater expectation then that YOU would make the world a better place when YOU had the chance. NOW IS YOUR CHANCE!

WE do not yet know who YOU are, but WE believe YOU will find this and respond. WE expect that once this ENDOWMENT is funded that it will generate at least $1,000.00 annually to meet our planned annual assistance as currently anticipated.

We will provide several unique gifts to honor your sponsorship, including our Certificate of Appreciation and Listing of the Benefits of Your Endowment on a separate page updated regularly on our website for all the world to see, acknowledge and honor as well.
