designed by georg jensen designer Magnus Steffensen
the front measures approx. 17 by 17 mm. = 5/8 by 5/8 inch
thickness of the front is approx. 3 mm. = 0.11 inch
stamps are georg jensen post 1945

- georg jensen
georg jensen (1866-1935) is both a name and a concept
he revitalized the special craft of the silversmith through his inspiration from the
arts & crafts movement and the refined art nouveau style
he treated the material with great respect and unique visions
after opening his workshop in copenhagen in 1904, jensen created a sensation
with his jewelry and silver works
he gave free reign to his imagination through extended use of flowers and fruits
and stones such as golden amber, blue lapis and red coral
also he was the first to systematically use oxidation for aesthetic effect
he created deep soft shades on the surface of the silver which turned the shiny
silver into a mellow grey with black shadows in the design hollows
after a while he was able to make larger investments in the costly silver and began to
hammer out larger pieces of hollow ware such as jugs, dishes and and candle holders
when georg jensen died in 1935 his small workshop had developed into a
worldwide company where inspired, artistic and talented craftsmen have since
continued to develop the jensen tradition
jensen's ideas survived in new forms through these artists, some of whom he had
trained himself, and who have since trained new generations of silver designers
jensen left behind a company with a viable tradition where craftsmen and artists treasure his memory through mutual respect and progressive ideas

You can make a PayPal payment at the auction site for the actual sale.
Alternatively, you can send your credit card information to us by e-mail. Please separate the information in two mails. One with the first 12 digits and one with the last 4 digits, expiry date and name on card - AND your CVC-Code. (The security code printed near, or in, the signature field).
We also accept bank to bank wire transfer.
Shipping
Please note that we charge the same shipping rate all over the world.
Combined shipping for Georg Jensen jewelry means that you pay one basic shipping rate for the first auction (normally US $20.00) - and normally US $5.00 for each additional auction). You will find the actual rate listed with the actual auction
Normally we will combine shipping automatically.
Insurance is different from item to item. The insurance fee is listed with the item description.
If your delivery address is within the EEC/Europe 25% Danish VAT will be applied to the invoice total - also to the shipping rate.
If you want combined shipping you must make one consolidated payment. You can wait 7 days with your consolidated payment from the day the first auction ended.
