Here is a striking blue transferware plate made by James & Ralph Clews in Cobridge, England, circa 1815-1834. I believe the pattern is Tuscan Rose and this is a large plate measuring 10 1/2 inches in diameter. This plate would make an exceptional display piece or to add to a collection of transferware. There is a faint hairline which is pictured for you and a very small chip on the back as can be seen in the photo at approximately one o'clock. This chip appears only on the back. As a display piece this plate would surely attract many eyes. It can be yours today!
