How Cricut Works

Using the Cricut machine and the Cricut Expression you can create die-cuts of shapes, letters, and phrases without a computer! Easily install a cartridge and keypad overlay, select your desired image, and cut! You can adjust the images from 1 inch in height to 5-1/2 inches in height using the original Cricut machine. With the Cricut Expression you can adjust to 24 inches in height.

Cartridges will work with either the original Cricut machine or the Cricut Expression. Cartridges will also work with all international versions of the original Cricut machine and Cricut Expression.

The complete Cricut line has everything you need: cartridges that contain complete alphabet and shape sets, cutting mats, cutting blades, paper-shaping tools, markers to outline or draw your cuts and storage totes. There are no dies to store, no software to install, and no computer required (some items are sold separately).
