Offered is a 1/8 liter C1910, American souvenir stoneware beer stein with a pewter lid. The three panel relief depicts the Statue of Liberty, Flat Iron Building and the Metropolitan Building in New York City. The base is marked AC Besselmann and Company, New York, the importer. The stein was produced by Albert Jakob Thewalt in or around 1910 in Germany. There is an impressed letter " E " on the base that may be identify the design designation. The true color is a deep forest green. It is all original and free of cracks, chips and repairs. Please clarify by asking as many questions as necessary before purchasing.
