SILVER OVERLAY AMETHYST ASHTRAY

DESCRIPTION

WELCOME! Offered is an antique silver overlay purple amethyst ashtray. It is in excellent condition. The ashtray is made of deep purple amethyst glass and overlayed with sterling silver, In the center, the silver forms the portrait of a lady carrying two buckets of water from the well. The outter rim of the ashtray is nearly covered with sterling silver with an etched design of scrolling that reveals the purple glass beneath. It is just the tiniest bit under 4 inches wide. No cracks or chips or loss of silver.
