"Ever since I was a very young child I have always been struck by Beauty. The Beauty in another Being, the Beauty in Nature...the Beauty in the gesture of an artistic creation." Born and raised in Montreal, Yanesh initially entered the creative life through the portal of haute coiffure, working in high fashion salons such as Biba, La Coupe, Vidal Sassoon, and her own salon, Tiphareth. She then became an art consultant working with H. Heather Edelman of SOHO New York and owner of the Troov Art Gallery also in New York. She currently dedicates her life to her work as an artist, having moved from New York to Grass Valley, California, to work with The School of Reductionism, also known as The Grass Valley Graphics Group, spearheaded by the world renowned artist E. J. Gold. Working mainly now as a painter Yanesh also enjoys working in sculpture, ceramic, pastel and charcoal. Her work has been shown in Marin, Los Angeles, Nevada City, Grass Valley, San Francisco,Vancouver, Chicago, Madrid, Toronto and New York. She has hundreds of collectors in various parts of the world.
