Every issue of S&T contains well-researched and thoughtful articles on military history with one specific facet becoming the subject of the included game. This time it is “The Crusades: Western Invasions of the Holy Land, 1097-1191 AD”. Actually two games in one as there are rules for simulating the First Crusade and the Third Crusade (led by Richard the Lion-Hearted and others). Designed by Richard Berg.

The magazine would be in Excellent condition but the previous owner neatly 3-hole punched the issue. (Fortunately, there is NO damage to any of the articles). Rules separated The game itself is in Excellent, punched, condition.

BONUS: Not only does this come with game errata but it also comes with 2^nd Edition Rules!
