STRIKING 1920's LOG CABIN BARN RAISING VELVET QUILT
This Log Cabin quilt has bars are arranged to form concentric diamonds, or Barn Raising pattern. This quilt measures a 65-1/2" x 46-1/2" in addition with a 2-1/4" sage colored ruffle. The quilt has green velvet tassels at each corner block. The condition is very good, there are several shredding silk fabrics in many blocks as shown in photos. The quilt is made up of velvets, silks and rayons. The quilt is totally hand pieced with fabrics from the 1920's. The back is a sage colored rayon, and the ruffle is hand sewn, and the is no batting.
