 Description Shipping and payments
Up for bids is an antique Stromberg Carlson model 1553 wall phone.  As you can see by the pictures, this is the wall phone version of the square corner desk phone.  This telephone works...dials out...but doesn't ring.  Maybe just a wiring problem?  The case has no cracks or breaks, just a few scratches that you might expect from normal wear and tear.  The handset is also in nice original condition, with no cracks or damage.  Both the case and handset are clearly marked Stromberg Carlson.  The painted brass dial is in mint condition, however it returns a little slowly...probably just needs some lube.  This telephone was hardwired originally, so whoever wins this will have to install a modular plug if so desired.  Overall, this is a good example of this 1950's era telephone.  Selling as-is.
