STUDIES IN ABNORMAL PSYCHOLOGY, SERIES VI. BY RICHARD G. BADGER. Boston: Gorham Press, no date, [circa 1912]. First Edition. Very Scarce.
A nice First Edition copy of this very scarce and fascinating early collection of psychological monographs by the leading psychologists 100 years ago, including Stanley G. Hall and Ernest Jones, among many others. Published nearly 100 years ago, this book is now long out of print and it is very scarce, selling for $75. Such a nice copy is not likely to come up for sale again soon on ebay.
From the Text: "In view of the great importance of the contributions of eminent specialists in psychology which have been published in 'The Journal of Abnormal Psychology', and the increasing demand for the same, the publisher has been encouraged to re-issue such numbers as are in print, in order that this valuable material may be more accessible to the general reader. The first series contains the articles published in the issues of the magazine from April, 1910, to March 1911, inclusive...the second series [through the fifth series, covers the articles from April, 1911 to March, 1915, inclusive]...and the sixth series from April, 1915, to March, 1916, inclusive. Many of the earlier numbers of the magazine are already out of print, so that no collected volumes can easily be made to cover their contents."
