How do I install my Slingger?
Here's a list of tools we recommend you have before you get started.
Once you have your tools, please follow these steps for Slingger installation success!

Find the location you’d like to install your Slingger. If you have a garage door opener, the most popular place to install a Slingger is right above the hood of where you park your car. This is often the most unused space in your garage. If you choose to install your Slingger off the wall, we recommend that it be installed 2 feet from the wall.

Place your ladder right below where you'd like to install your Slingger.

Step onto your ladder and begin running your stud finder along the ceiling to find the wood ceiling studs. Stud should be at least 1-1/2” by 3-1/2” and strong enough for the intended weight.

Once you've found the stud, make a small mark where you plan to install the two included screws. We recommend that the screws be placed 16” to 24” apart.

Install the 2 screws into the center of the stud with your socket wrench, leaving ¾ of an inch of the screw exposed. Some customers prefer to drill a small hole prior to installing the screws. Drilling isn’t always necessary, but it can be a convenient step.

Place the Slingger on one of the screws.

Attach the Slingger to the second screw. Continue sliding until it stops.

Tighten both screws.

Plug it into a nearby outlet and secure.

Secure cord to ceiling, so it is out of the way.
What's the best location for installing my Slingger?
If you have a garage door opener, the most popular place to install a Slingger is right above the hood of where you park your car. This is often the most un-used space in your garage. Other popular locations include along the interior of the garage.
What is the optimal distance from the wall to store my Slingger?
If you choose to install your Slingger off the wall, we recommend that it be installed 2 feet from the wall.
What is the maximum ceiling height you can have to install your Slingger?
The maximum ceiling height is 14 feet.
What is the minimum ceiling height you can have to install your Slingger?
The minimum ceiling height is 8 feet.
How many Slinggers can I put in my garage?
You can install as many units as you have room and outlets for. Additional outlets can be added by using an approved power strip or calling an electrician to add more outlets in the ceiling.
Are Slinggers battery powered?
No. Slinggers are not battery powered.
Where do I plug my Slingger in?
We recommend that you plug your Slingger into a nearby outlet. Your garage door opener typically has an outlet for you to plug into
