When Blc. Fortune was paired with the species, B. digbyana, and registered by Stewart's Orchids in 1970,  little could we have imagined the contribution and impact this cross would make in the Orchid World.  Fourteen AOS awards have been given to various plants of Blc. Ports of Paradise.   They are some of the largest, pure green FRAGRANT cattleyas in existence today, and always demand attention.
 
The most recent Blc. Ports of Paradise clone  is the variety 'YUN POU'.  The 6-inch flowers are an improvement in the petal shape, with the same dramatic wide-open frilly digbyana lip.  
 
BarDavo Orchids is offering this mericlone in a 4-inch pot.  It has FIVE PSEUDOBULBS,  a NEW GROWTH,  a SHEATH, and stands 15 1/2-INCHES tall!   The bloom photo shows what has previously bloomed, and the plant photo shows the actual plant you will receive.
