Never before offered for sale. This beautiful Super Fine Tribal Afghan Mohommadi Runner was woven by desert Nomads in the Northern region of Afghanistan. It is a recent weave and very fine weave and is in excellent brand new condition. This is a beautifully woven runner, extra heavy and suitable for commercial purposes. The burnt terracotta colour is alive and vibrant. Runners of this type and length are quite rare.

It is all woollen construction, woven on a woolen warp and weft. It has a most attractive colour depth of deep burnt terracotta and indigos. The wool has a lovely silky luster and the rug is quite a fine weave as seen on the close up shot. Feels silky. It is a beautiful double medallion design on an open field. The design is quite detailed.

Because of this rugs silky luster it was very difficult to photograph.

Tribal rugs of this fine quality and length are rare. It is a most collectible sought after and in high demand and should serve the owner well for many years.

Most collectible and ideal for a heavy traffic area.
