Recommended for the newer high speed hard drives. Allows the increase in the burst data transfer rate to 133 mbs, from the 100 mbs or less that older drives required.*

The MUST-HAVE accessory for the fastest type of ide hard drives being manufactured. It's not enough to replace the hard drive, you need to replace the cable with the type recommended for the Ultra ATA 133 standard, and compatible with the ATA 100 and 66 standard as well.

These can also be a benefit for the non-ATA 133 drives by reducing the noise and interference generated through regular IDE cables. So it can improve the performance of ANY IDE drive! (not compatible with all older drives, one middle pin is blocked)

These are 36" cables. 80 wires with 40 pin connectors (that's part of the secret to increasing speed)
