SUPERB RARE VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER SWORD BOOKMARK

A stunning rare Victorian sterling silver bookmark. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1892 with the maker’s marks being ALLD for Adie and Lovekin Limited, specialist makers of interesting small pieces. It has been unusually designed in the form of a sword complete with ornately embossed grip. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits and repairs and is perfectly slight and flat. It measures 3.75 inches (9.1cms) long and weighs 6 grams. A beautifully made rare example.

Postage costs will obviously be renegotiated for multiple purchases. International buyers please note some items will have the option of being dispatched via ‘Standard Royal Mail Air Mail Small Packets’ or via ‘Royal Mail International Signed For Air Mail’, the second enhanced service can be tracked and is covered by the Royal Mail so is advisable for the more expensive items, the first is not. Ebay automatic invoices default to the basic service,  if you wish for your item to be posted via the enhance tracked service please contact us and we will send an amended invoice. We will post to any country; if you are unsure about the postage costs or anything in general simply contact us through ‘ask seller a question’ at the top of the page. Please note if an item arrives damaged (it has not happened yet) please retain all the packaging including the original brown paper as the Royal Mail can refuse to pay out if this is missing.
