This is tenth anniversary issue of Superman - the July, 1948, #53 issue with cover and interior art by Wayne Boring.  This is the first retelling of Superman's origin with details not included in th first issue.  I believe this copy grades between Very Good and Good. The covers are intact with no missing pieces.  They have some edge wear, creases and stains. The spine has a little roll and 3/4" tears at the top and bottom edges and two small tears at the lower staple.  The inside pages are in good condition with some stains and browning.  The center page has "WON - BY A WHISPER" on the left and ""SHORTY" on the right.  NO RESERVE.  The buyer pays a flat pack/ship fee of $5.85 (continental U.S.).  Shipping discount for multiple purchases.  Please email any questions.
