The Man of Steel

This unique drawing of Superman is based on the life-size wax figure created by master sculptor MIKE HILL...I've always loved Alex Ross' renditions of virtually everything superhero and especially the "grizzled weathered" look Alex often gave to his creations and not so polished looking...Mike's sculpt is based on Alex Ross' drawings and paintings and not on any movie genre created before. It is understood that Alex's Superman model is of character actor Frank Casey. I looked everywhere online to find stills but had no luck, so I turned to Mike's amazing rendition. Again, this is a drawing based on Mike Hill's lifesize sculpture.
