SX Short Scale JAZZ BASS ASH Series/Paralell Mod Upgra

 This is an SX brand Short Scale Jazz Bass. In Excellent used condition. I've recently purchased a Gibosn SG bass and need to sell this one now. I don't think this model is available anymore. This was the high end of the models they had at that time. Has a very nice  Three piece SOLID Ash body. It is not plywood.  Maple neck with 20 Frets. Short scale 30" fretboard is Maple also. Has original bridge. Pick ups replaced with Proper Out of phase Single colis to get the hum canceling of a real jazz bass. Stock PU's didn't  do this. Replaced all wiring with CTS 250K pots and high grade cloth wire on the pots and heavy duty lead wire on the jacks and switches(see pics) Knobs replaced with real Fender Jazz bass knobs. Has a paralell series switch next to the Volume knob. You can get the typical jazz bass Paralell sound or a Humbucking series P bass sound when the switch is thrown. The P bass is fatter and warmer. This body is slightly smaller than a Full sized jazz bass but it is not a lightweight. The Solid ash is heavy and the bass has a full sound. It has Round wounds on it now but I did use it with Flats and  the sound was huge. No Case but will pack carefully.  Shipping $28 in USA  Email with any Questions.
