Description

Up for auction is a beautiful cup & saucer set made by Syracuse China of Syr, New York in the " Romance " pattern - maroon color. Syracuse discontinued production of all fine china lines in 1971. This great cup & saucer set in the desirable Romance - Maroon pattern is in Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. Near-mint condition & doesn't appear to have been used much if at all. Gold trim is in excellent shape. Cup measures just shy of 2 1/2" tall & saucer measures 5 5/8" across. Both pieces marked with the bluish-green Old Ivory Syracuse China O.P.CO. Made in America banner mark. Light spots in pics are glare & not on the china itself. Would make a beautiful addition or replacement piece to your Syracuse Romance Maroon set.
