SZ 11 1/2 Vintage 14K Gold Masonic Band Ring 6.8 grams This is a vintage Masonic band style ring with the Hebrew character Yod on top in black enamel. I understand that this is a Scottish Rite ring. The inside inscription is VIRTUS JUNXIT MORS NON SEPARABIT. The only other mark is 14K. This ring is from the estate of a man who died in the 1970s. I can't date it exactly.
The color is a rich, mellow gold (not bright and brassy like new gold). Inv #14141. SIZE: This ring is a finger size 11 1/2. It weighs 6.8 grams. CONDITION: This item is in excellent condition. Click here to see my other jewelry listings.

BACKGROUND: I've been buying and selling vintage jewelry (both fine and costume) for over 25 years.
It can be difficult to buy jewelry on the internet because you can't hold the piece in your hand, so I include sections in every listing describing size and condition as well posting clear pictures. I also list total shipping costs for domestic customers in the 48 contiguous states so that there are no surprises after you buy.
A word about buying vintage fine jewelry - Most people don't make a lot of fine jewelry purchases and are sometimes confused by the terminology and professional pictures used by some ebay sellers. I do not use terms like gold-clad, overlay, GP, HGE, or GEP to try to make potential bidders think an item is gold when it is not.
There is nothing wrong with jewelry that is gold plated (which is what these misleading terms mean), but it is NOT fine jewelry. When I describe an item as gold, you can be sure it is gold all the way through, not just on the surface. When I describe stones, you can be sure that they are what I say they are.
I do not use "stock" pictures taken to make an inexpensive piece look fabulous using lighting and editing tricks. I want my customers to say that the piece is better than the picture - not to be disappointed because it doesn't look like the photo.
