Sachs 505 Moped Engine Cylinder + Decompression Release

Sachs 505 Moped Engine Cylinder with Decompression Release.  Includes functional installed engine manifold or intake valve gasket.  Includes 4 rusted but functional and replaceable M6 mounting nuts and washers.  This is a probably a Sachs 505 type A cylinder.

     I've parted out a 1970s Wheel King moped with a Sachs 505/1 1-speed engine and the Sachs Wheel King moped parts are for sale at EdsSurplus eBay store.  The brand name is Wheel King, and it was manufactured by Wheel King in Taiwan in the 1970s with a Sachs engine, carb, intake valve, airbox, air filter, and exhaust pipe.

Product Condition:  Engine cylinder interior has many light scratches parallel to the piston rings, but the scratches look light.  It looks good to this untrained eye, and I guess it probably still works if the decompression release also works (or if the decompression release is sealed with engine gasket sealant), but this is not guaranteed.  The decompression release is rusted.  I'm unfamiliar with it, and I don't know if it works or if it needs to be replaced in order for the cylinder and engine to work.  (Alternatively, you could probably seal the decompression chamber with high temperature resistant engine gasket sealant instead to use the cylinder without a decompression chamber, but I'm not sure how this would affect engine performance, particular how easy it is to start.)  There is some very light carbon buildup in the combustion chamber.  The spark plug threads are good.  The old cylinder gasket is still partially stuck in place, and the remnants of the old cylinder gasket will need to be carefully removed before the cylinder can be installed.  It is sold "as is".
