Sachs Wheel King Moped Electrical Brake Light Sensor #2

Sachs Wheel King Moped Electrical Brake Light Sensor #2 and wire connectors to the main wire connections in the headlight assembly plus an extra part, probably an electrical flasher that generates current for a flashing light. 

     I've parted out a 1970s Wheel King moped with a Sachs engine and the Sachs Wheel King moped parts are for sale at EdsSurplus eBay store.  The brand name is Wheel King, and it was manufactured by Wheel King in Taiwan in the 1970s with a Sachs engine, carb, intake valve, airbox, air filter, and exhaust pipe.  

Product description: Sachs Wheel King Moped Electrical Brake Light Sensor #2 and wire connectors to the main wire connections in the headlight assembly plus an extra part, probably an electrical flasher that generates current for a flashing light..   One wire is green with a very small male adapter and the other wire is light green with a very small male adapter.  Spliced into the light green small male adapter is a brown wire that connects to some extra electrical part, probably a flasher, that is connected to another brown wire.  An electrical flasher produces electrical current for a flashing light.  

Sachs moped parts compatibility:  This electrical sensor is designed to work with a Sachs Wheel King brake lever connected to a Sachs Wheel King handlebar mounting assembly with the solid metal electrical control boxes.  If your moped has the same handlebar controls that are for sale with this moped, then there's an excellent chance this part is compatible with your moped handlebar controls and brake levers.  These might/might not be standard Sachs parts on most mopeds that have Sachs engines regardless of manufacturer.  If These parts don't match, and your parts don't look identical to this electrical brake light sensor, then I doubt the parts will match or work together.  This brake light sensor screws into your handlebar assembly using a special hollow M6 bolt with 1.00 thread that is 6mm long.  The white electrical sensor part is 4mm in diameter and extends 18mm past the hollow M6 mounting bolt it is inside of.  It can contract approx 2mm to 16mm in length, probably its usual closed position.   It is sold "as is", and product compatibility is not guaranteed.
     Only 1 of the 2 electrical brake sensors has this precise configuration of 2 wires with very small male adapter connections at the end.  If this part replaces that part, just swap this part in for the other part.  You have need to splice in one brown wire.  If this part replaces the other part, you will probably need to cut or remove the brown wire to disconnect a second electrical flasher from the circuit.  It's doable, but it takes more work to install this electrical brake light sensor than replacing a brake sensor that does not include the alternator with a brake sensor that does not include the alternator.

Product Condition:  Both the electrical sensor and the alternator are untested.  Wiring and black wiring sheath and rubber boot over the brake sensor look like they are in good shape.  Electrical contact switch looks like it should work, but it is untested and sold "as is".  Alternator is untested and will require properly installing the brown wire.
