Widely regarded as one of the most distinctive voices in popular music, Sade produced two of her finest works of her recording career in 2000 and 2002: Lovers Rock and Lovers Live. The former was heralded as a triumphant return to form from the sophisticated pop singer, going quadruple platinum and earning an assemblage of positive reviews. Spawning soulful and smooth hits such as "By Your Side" and "King Of Sorrow," Lovers Rock was a fine work of beautiful, smoky ballads and soulful rock. The album went on to win the 2001 Grammy award for "Best Pop Album."

Her follow-up live album, Lovers Live, was a seamless collection of classic Sade songs along with her newer pieces from Lovers Rock from her much admired 2001 world tour. Containing timeless hits such as "Smooth Operator" and "The Sweetest Taboo," Sade's live release as a glorious effort that showcased her sexy and soulful vocal style. Now, these two great works from Sade will be bundled together in one package.
