How to use

1. Clean the vase or container. Pour 1000ml or 35 ounces of water in the vase or container. Then soak 1 pocket crystal soil into the water for 4 hours till expanded.  Drain the excess water from the Crystal Soil with the palm of your hand or strainer before planting.

2. For indoor plants: Remove any soil or dirt from the plants and gently clean the plant roots. It is best to soak the root system in water for 1-2 days soften and clean any dirt thoroughly from the roots. Then plant into the vase and fill with the Crystal Soil and lightly press down on the Crystal Soil to help settle the Crystals.

3. Over a period of time (1 or 2 months), the surface of the Crystal Soil will shrink due to water absorption by the plants and natural vaporization. After water is added to the crystals, wait for about 4 hours. The crystals will return to their fully expanded absorbent state. Then drain the excess water from the Crystal Soil through the palm of your hand or strainer (see: picture I). 

Tips for indoor plants

1. Drain the excess water from the Crystal Soil. You can choose 2 ways:   (1) Use one hand to hold the lip of vase. Use the other hand to firmly hold the bottom of vase, and then slowly tilt the vase to drain off excess water from the Crystal Soil. Or (2) Empty the Crystal Soil into a colander or strainer, and then put the Crystal Soil back into the vase. Another method is to spoon out dry granules of Crystal Soil from the vase. Soak the Crystal Soil in water 4 hours till expanded, and then add the Crystal Soil back into the vase.

2. If the Crystal Soil gets dirty, just empty the Crystal Soil into a colander or strainer and rinse thoroughly with water.

3. Remove the plant from the old pot to the vase with Crystal Soil. Shortly after transplanting some leaves of plant may become yellow. Because some roots may break when the plant is transplanted and some transplanted plants may need some time to adapt to its new environment. Once new roots are established the plant will grow fast and thrive well in the Crystal Soil.

4. The Crystal Soil helps create an ideal growing environment to keep plant to growing vigorously. For most plants and flowers, its growing cycle and the planting methods are similar, compared to the traditional planting. Most plants prefer bright but indirect sunlight.

5. The Crystal Soil can be used again and again for 2-3 years. But its nutrition was spent after 6 months. For optimum results with your Crystal Soil it is recommended that you replace any older Crystal Soil with new Crystal Soil every 6 months. Also cleaning and trim the plant. The plant will be growth better. The Crystal Soil price is not expensive. It won’t waste your money. The older Crystal Soil can be mixed into any in-ground dirt to help retain moisture when planting plants outside.
