2.5 Ft Salvador Dali Lithograph



Up for auction is a 2.5 Foot  numbered and signed Salvador Dali Lithograph of "El Cid" with Certificate of AUthenticity (COA). This litho is numbered and facsimile signed in the plate. It comes with a hand signed certificate of authenticity from the publisher.

Artist Bio:
Salvador Felipe Jacinto Dalí (May 11, 1904 - January 23, 1989) Artist, born in Figueras, Spain. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts, Madrid, he moved to Paris and joined the Surrealists (1928), becoming one of the principal figures of the movement. His study of abnormal psychology and dream symbolism led him to represent 'paranoiac' objects in landscapes remembered from his Spanish boyhood. In 1940 he settled in the USA, became a Catholic, and devoted his art to symbolic religious paintings.
