Samoset Chocolates Co Antique Dresser Box Marine RARE

Description

This antique dresser box appears to have been a special chocolate box (1 lb) for a special occasion perhaps Father's day. The Samoset Chocolates Co. Boston MA went out of business in the 1920's. The box measures approximately  8" x 5" x 3"

 The patent label on the bottom of the box is torn but shows the symbol with an Indian in a canoe "Chief of them all" The design on the top of the box is a marine picture under glass. The inside of the box has a mirror. There is wear and a small dent but this box is extremely rare. I welcome emails from anyone with additional information on this type of item.

 I will ship within 3 days of payment and if an unforeseen circumstance arrives I will e-mail you. I bubble wrap and use padded envelopes on all fragile items. If for some reason you paid too much for shipping I will refund you the excess minus a small handling charge.
