Covers all territory in New Mexico and Texas west and South of Clovis, South of Albuquerque, and East and South of Belen (this includes the old Pecos and old Rio Grande divisions) to and including the terminals at Deming, El Paso, Rustler Springs and Pecos including the:

First (Clovis and Belen via Vaughn, includes former second district; Clovis - Gallaher - Grier - Melrose - Cantara - Krider - Tolar - Taiban - La Lande - Fort Sumner - Agudo - Ricardo - Evanola - Yeso - Largo - Buchanan - Cardenas - Duoro - Joffre - Vaughn (former crew change point; site of massive viaduct over the Union Pacific, former Southern Pacific, earlier El Paso & Southwestern Tucumcari Line) - Tejon - Carnero - Encino - Negra - Pedernal - Dunmoor - Culebra - Lucy - Silio - Willard - Broncho - Mountainair - Abo - Kayser - Scholle (Heart of Abo Canyon) - Sais - Becker - Bodega - Madrone - El Paso Jct. Deming (Rincon - Hatch - Hockett - Nutt - Mirage - Deming (this was the end of the Santa Fe's original 'transcontinental line' in conjunction with the Southern Pacific (SP); remainder of line beyond Deming to Hurley, Whitewater, etc. has now been sold to a short line) - Peruhill - Spalding - Whitewater - Burro Mountain Jct. - Silver City),

El Paso (Albuquerque - Abajo (Site of the Former Tie Plant) - Kinney - Isleta - Los Lunas - Chloe - Belen (an interesting feature of this yard is that it was running Westbound with its original mileposts (geographically north to south), but was operated in the other direction after the construction of the Belen Cutoff before World War I since it entered from the South Running Westbound) - Sabinal - La Joya - San Acacia - Limitar - Socorro - San Antonio - Elmendorf - Tiffany - San Marcial (still a siding, but originally the division headquarters and a crew change point; after a big flood, San Marcial and the division were no more) - Pope - Lava - Crocker - Engle - Cutter - Aleman - Alivio - Grama - Rincon - {originally the main line continued to Deming and the yard was built along the (later) Deming district, not the line to El Paso) - Tonuco - Medler - Leasburg - Dona Ana - Las Cruces - Mesilla Park - Mesquite - Vado - Berino - Anthony - Vinton - Canutillo - Montoya - White - El Paso; the 'horny toad'; including NRPC (National Railroad Passenger Corporation / Amtrak) numbers 3 and 4, the Southwest Limited or southwest Chief, whichever name was current for the former combined Super Chief / El Capitan, between Albuquerque and Isleta),

Pecos (Pecos Jct. - Orla - Riverton - Arno - Pecos),

Rustler Springs (Carlsbad - Otis - Loving Jct. - Loving - Malaga - Pecos Jct. - Rustler Springs (Duval Sulphur)), and

Santa Rita (Whitewater - Hurley - Bayard - Hanover Jct. - Cobre - Santa Rita) Districts (later subdivisions).
