This chest of drawers offers plenty of storage space. The top is inlaid with a parquetry pattern. Shown here is the back.
The drawers are very well-made and operate quite smoothly. Each drawer features dovetailed joints. These turned feet are as elegant as they are sturdy.
This barley twist stretcher joins the legs for extra stability.
     This fine, walnut console was recently directly imported to our store here in the United States. The walnut has been hand-distressed for a truly antique feel and sense of rustic flair. The wood on top of the piece is laid out in an elaborate parquetry pattern that gives it the piece a great deal of character and visual appeal. In fact, just about every part of this charming console distinguishes itself and adds to the overall appeal of the piece. The legs are elegantly turned and carved. There is also a long barley twist stretcher. which keeps the already sturdy legs even tighter. The drawers feature brass pulls and dovetailed drawer joints. Overall the condition of this piece is excellent, as it was newly made in England and has never been used. The piece looks great and would make a lovely addition to any home.
