You are bidding on a really neat Schylling classic reproduction of an original Classic Carousel.  It was Schylling number 808 and was issued in very limited release in 2002.  This high quality carnival toy was a Wagner / Brunn design and part of Schylling's higher priced line. 
 
 
 
This one is one of the best tin toys Schylling has ever made. Made in Germany to the highest standards, this is THE traditional tin carousel and is a true work of art.  It features the familiar wind-up pull-and-release lever that starts the carousel gently rotating, then gradually gaining speed and swinging the chairs out sideways before slowly winding down again.
 
 
 
It measures 7.5 inches tall.  The octagonal base is eight inches wide.  CHECK OUT THE DETAIL IN EACH RIDE--I LIKE THE DIAMOND PATTERN CUT INTO THE SEATS.
 
 
 
Also comes with an American and a German flag; these go in the very top.  This one comes in an original box which was plain with the Schylling sticker.
 
 
NO RESERVE.  SCHYLLING RETAILED THIS ONE FOR $75 in 2002.  Our opening bid is MUCH lower.
