These poles feature lightweight S2 aluminum alloy shafts rated to 45000 PSI so it resists bends far better than a lot of those other no-name discount poles found in a clearance bargain bin. The Triton also features dual-density P-lite grips to ergonomically fit ski gloves and mittens. Just above the hardened steel dish tip you'll find Scott's 3.6 disc basket an aerodynamically-enhanced design with a smaller diameter than Scott's powder disc ski poles.
