I can see a mother earth creating life, the beginning of the world.
What do you see?
The original painting was painted after a trip to Las Vegas. I love to see Mystere's Cirque Du Soil which I try to see each time I am in Vegas.
This style of movement of paint started after I came home.

My abstract paintings range from the dramatic to the whimsical. Some have texture incorporating fabric, crushed glass, metals and many other materials to create her mixed mediums.

I think of my works of art as my friends and have stories to tell about what inspired many of them.

ABOUT ME

My home is in a beautiful Ozark village in Arkansas, a growing Art Community .Were I live with my amazing son Tamar. I have 2 studios one for glass mosaic and sculptures. Upstairs is for painting but I tend to paint all over my home whenever the need hits me.

I seem to always be painting ,new ideas and a new creation begins. This is the reason why I am working on so many at one time. Most of my works can hang anyway you like because I am rotating them the whole time I’m painting. I love the way there moods change depending on how you chose to hang them. That is the reason I sign the back .

What style do I paint in? I don’t feel that I fit in any box, I am always changing. Being a self taught artist I have no rules. I started painting on walls as soon as I could walk. I grew up in Ms. Were my mom had an art studio in the basement. I would sneak into anytime I could, that’s were I discovered pastels. I have spent the first of my adult life doing art mostly mosaics and pastels for friends. 12 years ago I moved to the Ozark Mountains and opened a hat shop. I sold hand block hats and mosaic that I made.5 years ago.2000, I feel in love with acrylics on gallery wrapped canvas. Now most of my creations are mixed with a little of all I have ever played with. Glass- sculptures-pastels-acrylics-oils- fabric-hats-all kinds of stuff. I love texture ,many layers of paint ,and great blends of hues.
