2004 April 1, I had my 11 year anniversary; I created 68 original works of art fill the entire gallery. “Memories and Dreams” was the signature piece of my show.

For me it is about a new life, the birth of my son Tamar.
On the night he was born there was a full orange moon rising, that is one reason my moons and suns look much alike.

My abstract paintings range from the dramatic to the whimsical. Some have texture incorporating fabric, crushed glass, metals and many other materials to create her mixed mediums.

I think of my works of art as my friends and have stories to tell about what inspired many of them.

  What style do I paint in? I don’t feel that I fit in any box, I am always changing. Being a self taught artist I have no rules. I started painting on walls as soon as I could walk. I grew up in Ms. Were  my mom had an art studio in the basement. I would sneak into anytime I could, that’s were I discovered pastels. I have spent the first  of my adult life doing art mostly mosaics and pastels for friends. 12 years ago I moved to the Ozark Mountains and opened a hat shop. I sold hand block hats and mosaic that I made.5 years ago.2000, I feel in love with acrylics on gallery wrapped canvas. Now most of my creations are mixed with a little of all I have ever played with. Glass- sculptures-pastels-acrylics-oils- fabric-hats-all kinds of stuff. I love texture ,many layers of paint ,and great blends of hues.
