OOAK Fairy, Faerie Mermaid Seashell Display Base







This auction is for a seashell display base for a OOAK Mermaid. Can't you just picture her perched on the large shell? The wood base for this piece is 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" that was first painted aqua and the top of the wood piece has been covered with glittered aqua paper. A sheer bow in shades of pale aqua and lavender has been placed at the back of the large shell. I have placed some shimmering beads in the bow. I have surrounded the large shell with some coral and other smaller shells and flat glass marbles.
 
If you are a sculptor of OOAK faeries/mermaids and don't have the time or desire to create bases for them, or if you're a collector and are looking for a unique way to display a one, I hope you will consider some of mine. I will be adding more in the near future.
