   Seben's fully coated, achromatic 1.25" Barlow Lens 2x enables a doubling of the magnification of the inserted eyepieces. Special features: fully coated, achromatic, pure metal housing!

Standard Barlow Lenses (without coating and non-achromatic) are not able to sustain the image quality, because of the great light loss which results out of their usage. The unpleasant effect: The higher the magnification the blurrier the image! Only Seben's 1.25" Achromatic Barlow Lens 2x guarantees you a constantly good image quality. Light loss is reduced to a minimum. This can be decisive for the success of your observations!

Example:
A telescope with a focal length of 1000mm used in combination with a 20mm Plössl-Eyepiece has got a 50-fold magnification (1000mm focal length / PL-20mm = 50). If you add Seben's 1,25" Achromatic Barlow Lens 2x to this you achieve a 100-fold magnification (50 x 2 = 100).
