For auction we have a mystery bit of Sega development hardware. The info on the unit itself is "Maple Bus - Saturn Game Controller Convert Box Sega Enterprises, Ltd CSPD#2 DIV Made in Japan" and a sticker on the back near the Maple Bus connector stating "MB4P104"
From of the look and name of it, I gathered over the years this was for early prototyping of the Dreamcast hardware, with the devs using 3D Saturn controllers during testing via this device. You can see dual expansion slot connectors on each of the ports A-D on top.
This is sold as untested, as I sure as hell don't have the rest of the components to make it work =) The connector to the main unit (labelled Maple Bus) appears to be a SCSI-II...
Payment is expected within 48 hrs of auction close. Shipping times may vary. Item is sold as-is. I wish I had a Dreamcast dev kit.
