Product Description


This mineral specimen is a selenite satin spar (natural fiber optic) polished crystal sphere from Morocco.

It is 2.25 inches across.

The first picture is how it appears in normal light with no light underneath it. The other 3 pictures were taken over a light table with a fluorescent round ringlight and shows off the clarity of this sphere.

Selenite is part of the Gypsum (hydrous calcium sulfate) family of minerals. It rates a 1 1/2 - 2 on the Hardness scale. {sku 1115}
