US SHIPPING CHARGES: The shipping charge listed in this auction is based on USPS California rates plus a $1.00 handling fee. All my US shipping charges include delivery conformation. ALL OTHER STATE RATES WILL BE CALCULATED ACCORDING TO ZIP CODE, SO PLEASE WAIT FOR MY INVOICE BEFORE SENDING PAYMENT. Due to Ebay's new insurance policy I can not make insurance optional. Not everyone wants the cost of insurance so if my package is going thru the US Post Office I will include insurance into the shipping cost of items I believe need to be insured. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES: International shipping charges will be calculated according to country. I use USPS and FEDEX GROUND for my shipping services. Please check below the auction pictures for any posted answered questions. Please leave positive feedback once you have received the item and are satisfied and I will return positive feedback. Otherwise please contact me with any problems or concerns before leaving feedback. Thank You. This shipping charge is for California. Others determined by zip code. This saxophone is in nice shape. There is a small area of laqueur lose, a few small dents, and a couple of scratches. The worst area is shown in my last picture. This area is just above the heal on the backside of the sax. This is where all the laqueur wear is. The one valve cap in this area has some pitting in the chrome finish. There is also some very minor pits on the two large valve caps on the stem by the bell. The bell measures approx. 4 1/2" across. All the spring action is good. It appears that all the pads are present. The sax comes with extra reeds, a box of cork grease, a strap, a hard case, and plastic caps. One for the mouthpiece and one to put in the end when the mouthpiece is removed. None of the wear I described will affect the use of this instrument. It could use a polishing. I think I would have it looked at by a professional to make sure everything is in order and have it polished if desired. As far as I can see it should be fine. I believe this is a student model. It has a serial number of 634693 on the back. I looked up this number on the internet and it said it was made in 1975. Nice instrument for the starting musician or a school music class. |
