This Russian Charoite has mixed hues of purple. I found this beautiful polished piece of Charoite at a gem show. There is a chatoyant effect in this stone, where it seems as if the surface moves a little when you tilt the stone back and forth. The stone is very smooth in the front, and feels WONDERFUL when rubbed!! It amazes me that naturally purple stone comes out of the ground in Russia! I love Charoite, and am really happy that I found this piece to wrap and present on eBay! It's for someone special who needs these wonderful healing energies!

This precious amulet pendant is a one-of-a-kind - - an artistic ORIGINAL EXCLUSIVE DESIGN! I made it myself. I selected this polished Charoite, then took straight Sterling Silver wire, my hands and my small jewelry pliers, and manipulated and fashioned all the loops and bindings you see in the photos myself. The stone "told" me how it wanted to be wrapped, which usually happens. I shaped the Silver to frame the stone. I created the special design at the "neck" of the pendant to give a unique decorative touch. The stone is snugly held in place with the back open to the skin of the new owner. I create all of my pendants to FRAME the stone rather than covering it up. All my pendants have as much of the stone showing as possible because I like to touch and rub the stones in my pendants while I am wearing them, and think it would be good if you could, too!! The photos show the actual pendant you will own if you are the winning bidder. Also, every one of my creations that is offered for auction has never been worn before. When you purchase it, you will be the first person to ever wear it.

Pendant's Approximate Measurements:
About 1-1/2" tall, over 5/8" wide, and a little over 5/16" thick at the swirls design part of the pendant. The stone itself measures approximately 17.75mm x 12.5mm x 4.25mm, and it weighs approximately 1.7 grams, or 8.5 carats. The bail has a large enough opening that will accommodate a round chain necklace that is as thick as 3mm. And, since the bail is attached so that the pendant swings freely with the wearer, it will not be stiff and get stuck in an awkward position while worn. It will tend to capture the attention of on-lookers, too. ~*~ grin ~*~ (I never solder or use any glue on my creations.)

I have no medical evidence to substantiate the correlation between wearing this stone and the effects it will have on the wearer. The mystical healing properties offered above were partially paraphrased from one of a series of books by Melody. Melody suggests that the metaphysical properties listed for each stone will have these effects on the wearer WHILE he/she concentrates on the desired outcome. The author further states that this is NOT a substitute for consulting your physician; and I agree. When I wear any of my stones or crystals, I feel empowered by them. Maybe it is just because I WEAR them with specific intentions -- it works because I told my mind it would, OR does it work because of the molecular interaction between my body and the stones/crystals? I do not know. All I know is it seems to work FOR ME.

I tried many photos. Maybe the ones I have chosen to present can give you some idea of the pendant's presence. I hope they do. There are several different photos of the pendant on here for your viewing (one with a ruler, a few photos of the stone before it was wrapped, indoor and outdoor photos, and photos with different backgrounds, etc.) - same pendant, just different photos. (Sorry, the choker I used for photos is not included in the auction. Since many of my customers who purchase pendants also wish to purchase a chain necklace, I have a few chains left that I reserve for customers who need one to go with the pendants that they purchase.
