ATTRIBUTES: Exquisitely detailed solid mahogany dining chairs with tall backs, shaped legs, and fresh, easy-to-recover pop-out seats. These are comfortable chairs, sturdy and well constructed, just right for lingering long at the table. That carved detail on the backs is absolutely luscious: classic styling and a shaped top, very smooth and curvy and lovely. Delicious. These are chairs you'll want to run your fingers over every time you pass them.
POTENTIAL USES: Dining, of course. Long, leisurely suppers near the winter fire.
ORIGIN: England c. 1890s
CONDITION: Fine condition, ready to use. Sturdy and well made, with excellent little hardware below for tightening should they ever get loose. These are very nice quality chairs.
SIZE: 19.5" wide at front, 17.5" deep, 17.25" tall to seats, 41.5" overall.
SHIPPING: $109 to your nearest GPX/Greyhound terminal for pickup, just as we used to pick up packages at the old catalog stores. Insurance and tracking are included in this price.
CAN'T PICK UP? For the 90% of folks who live within the GPX delivery range, we can add home delivery for an additional $35 to $50, depending on distance from the terminal. For all others, we can do home delivery, we'll just need to use other options.
ABOUT SHIPPING: (1) Large items can take up to six weeks to ship (rarely more), though usually much, much less;
(2) We are not shipping cell.phones or CDs; it takes time to pack large, heavy items properly for transit.
