Set of BEATLES autographs matted and framed NO RESERVE!

Topping off this set is Paul McCartney. He signed over the image of himself on a picture of all four taken from a Beatles calender. He signed in black Sharpie and his autograph stands out boldly on the photo.

Right below is John Lennon. He signed and added his little self-portrait in black ballpoint pin to a sheet of paper that looks like a page from one of those old Big Chief tablets.

Below that are the signatures of George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Ringo signed in black ballpoint on am unlined index card and George also signed in black ballpoint on a piece on unlined paper.

There is a crease on the left hand side of the McCartney photo going through George’s image. It is noticeable when out of the frame but not so much when in the frame. The Lennon signature has yellowed some and there are tape residue marks on either side of the paper. It is not at all noticeable when framed. There also are tape residue marks on both the Harrison and Starr items but are not noticeable in the frame. That could be cut from all three signatures without affecting the signatures whatsoever.

Read what many experts and those who were there say about Beatles autographs. Those "vintage" photos that appear to have been signed by all four at one time in one place are probably not authentic. Not that anyone is intentionally trying to mislead fans –well, most anyone – but many contend the guys didn’t have the time to sign these things, so they were "forged" by others within the organization.

Your best bet to acquire the real deal is to collect a set of individual signatures from a trusted collector or dealer.
