The Book of the Omar Khayyam Club, 1882-1910. 1910. Privately printed in London by Strangeways and Sons. Number 54 of 181 copies printed. Inscribed to J.A. Spoor from Thos. J. Wise, 1910 on half-title page. Members of this exclusive club, devoted to the poet and his translator, Fitzgerald, included the likes of Max Beerbohm, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, H.G. Wells, and Thomas Hardy. Includes tipped in plates, menus, poems and speeches by the members of the club, all beautifully laid out and often rubricated. Paper-wrapped boards with cloth-covered spine, paper spine label half-missing, signature H detached but present. Library book plate on front paste down (slightly overlapping personal book plate of John A. Spoor), stamp on ffep, perforation and stamp to table of Contents.

The Second Book of the Omar Khayyam Club, 1910-1929. 1931. Privately printed in London by Strangeways and Sons. Number 88 of 125 copies printed. Includes poem by Aldus Huxley, list of guests at each dinner, poems and artwork. Also with tipped in plated and rubricated pages. Paper-wrapped boards with cloth-covered spine, paper spine label. Library bookplate to front paste down, otherwise free of markings.
