This is a nickel plated brass Seth Thomas boat clock.  The dial reads Mark I-Boat Clock U.S. Navy N 4979, 1941   Made By Seth Thomas in U.S.A.. It opens with a wing nut to wind and set the clock. I believe it is a 8 day clock and runs very well.  I was told it may be a submarine clock because the name Mark I-Boat clock on the dial. It is a complete clock in very good condition with back plate and the bulkhead shock plate.No reserve.
