Background:

  • Mini-Movie Posters were a clever advertising scheme employed in the 1940's and 1950's.  Not only did they advertise the film cheaply but they sometimes served as admission passes to theaters which had their information printed on the back.

  • True ephemera, these were printed to be used and thrown away.  Fortunately, the beautiful illustrations inspired a few collectors to preserved the examples they found.

  • Please note that all of our mini-movie posters are originals as issued in Spanish-language countries (Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and others).

  • Great for framing and display.  Approximate size:  3-1/2" x 5-1/4"  (85mm x 135mm)
