Art Bargello Quilt with Lakehouse Fabric

"Button Bargello"













Offered for sale is a Wall or Lap Art Quilt called "Button Bargello".

Quilt measures 56" wide by 74" long.

It is machine made and machine quilted, and includes a sleeve on the back for hanging. It is signed and dated by me.

Created in September 2003.

"Button Bargello" is a rendition of my quilt pattern, Big Block Bargello.

Twelve different coordinating fabrics, all from Lakehouse Fabrics, coordinate to create a beautiful chevron design.  The main fabric has vintage sewing images - thread, needle cards, buttons, puppies and kittens...what's not to like??  More of this fabric is used and shown on the back.

The piece is extensively machine quilted in a meandering pattern, shown in the detailed photos. This quilting is all done 'free-motion' by me, without the aid of any patterns or templates. A machine embroidered label shows the name, the maker and date.

The materials, time and workmanship in this quilt would place it's value in the $500-$600 range.

This quilt would look beautiful as the focal point room decor in a traditional or country room, or would make a great topper for a bed, or over the back of a couch.

All quilts are from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
