Vintage style Strat pickup, true single coil. Magnets are slightly raised above the flatwork for an even response with todays strings and flatter neck radiuses. The Alnico II magnets are the "musical magnets"... this helps eliminate the brittle, glassy sound associated with newer instruments. This pickup is a direct replacment and requires no guitar modification. Wiring schematic and mounting screws included. We are an authorized Seymour Duncan Dealer.
