Sherwood Scuba dual outlet Y valve (also called a slingshot valve) allows two complete regulators to be used on a single tank. If one regulator fails - such as a blown O ring, hose failure, or uncontrolled regulator free flow, that regulator can be isolated by shutting off the valve to the bad regulator. This preserves the air supply in the tank and allows for self rescue by using the other good regulator. Standard yoke type regulators work with this valve and it fits the common 3/4" tank threads (such as aluminum 80s, etc.).  This valve and the regulator redundancy it allows increases safety in cave, wreck, and other forms of technical diving. The valve is in very good condition.
